Chinese crested hairless
Chinese crested hairless dogs make happy pets
Toy dogs are smaller pet dogs compared to your normal guard dogs. The Chinese crested hairless is another member of the toy dog category. Most of these dogs are meant to be your energetic companions. Such dogs are assumed to be delicate but many are very frisky animals that happily run around. Even the adult dogs are smaller than the average dogs. The Chinese crested hairless dogs are very popular pets. These animals have soft skin that is mostly fur-free. But there might be certain areas of the body (like the head or paws) that have a fur cover. Ranging from black to the soft brown colour, the Chinese crested hairless can be quite an attractive creature.
These dogs are usually free of the more threatening health conditions, but their weak teeth and eyes could be a matter of concern. The toes are slightly longer and nails must not be trimmed too much. Such dogs weigh about 12 lbs. A healthy Chinese crested hairless could live for about 15 years on an average. With slightly delicate skin, such dogs need to be groomed regularly.
Chinese crested hairless pets are very popular with people who are allergic to fur and hence, haven’t had a pet yet. These animals can be lively and quite happy to greet anyone with a wag of the tail. In fact, they have interesting nicknames like screecher and singer! They make really good lap dogs as well, if they get attached to someone.
